Three Cane Whale, a multi-instrumental acoustic trio based in Bristol, UK, featuring members of Spiro,Get The Blessing and the Fleur Darkin Ensemble, play with and in between the poetry of Tim Cumming, acclaimed poet, music and art journalist, film-maker and artist whose paintings are showing at Sladers Yard now.  Tickets: £10 or £25 with dinner

Saturday 25 January 7pm House of Trees with Ryan O’Reilly

Thursday 30 January 6.30pm WB Yeats talk by Graham Fawcett

William B YeatsTo mark the 75th anniversary of his death on 28 January 1939, Graham Fawcett takes us on a lyrical journey through the life and work of W B Yeats, the great Irish poet who brought life back to a Celtic folk culture of magic and mysticism. Graham Fawcett’s unique style of performance informs while entertaining and enriching. Honed as a BBC Radio 3 & 4 presenter, he gives his talks at festivals and Poetry Schools around the country. Tickets: £10 or £25 with dinner.

Saturday 8 February at 12 noon and 7pm the ‘simply breathtaking’ Gypsy Fire

Gypsy FireGypsy Fire create stunning acoustic instrumental performances with breathtaking musical virtuosity. They breathe new life into music from the worlds of classical, jazz, Latin, rock, blues and beyond. Their music is filled with passion and flair, utterly engaging and surprising audiences with twists and turns of harmony and rhythm.
