Live Evening Events: postponed until further notice
Sladers Yard is a private art gallery dedicated to exhibiting and selling contemporary British art, handmade furniture designed by Petter Southall and designer craft by leading artists, designers and makers. Sladers Yard presents a high quality changing programme of selling exhibitions throughout the year. We sell work directly from the artist so customers know when they buy from us that the artwork is genuine and that the money they spend supports and provides a living for some of the most talented artists and makers working today. Between exhibitions we represent artists, often holding their paintings in stock and available to buy from this website, and where appropriate taking commissions for artworks. Please see individual artist pages for more information or contact the gallery on firstname.lastname@example.org
Open to visit from Wednesday 17 June. Opening Hours.
The gallery’s changing exhibitions are accompanied by an ongoing and continuously renewed exhibitions of craft and accessories including ceramics, sculpture, glassware, leather and textiles by leading British designer craftspeople. Please see the individual designers and maker’s pages. Housed in an historic Georgian rope warehouse, with pillared galleries and flower-filled courtyard, Sladers Yard is five minutes walk from the beach and harbour in West Bay, Dorset.
Regular and varied live evening events with dinners are on hold at the present time. The venue is also usually available for catered private parties, weddings and celebrations. Events have all been postponed for the present.

Called ‘perhaps the greatest living proponent of the English Romantic tradition’ (Spectator), Inshaw invokes the powers of nature, the moon, trees, stars, birds, animals, men, women and ancient landscapes and the sea to create his powerful intensely personal paintings.
