Sunday 11 November 12 noon followed by two-course lunch at CAFÉ SLADERS.

Paul Henry’s ground-changing new collection tells the past and present stories of the Monmouthshire-Brecon canal in poems and songs. He has published eleven collections to great acclaim and has performed and presented programmes for BBC Radio 4 and Radio 3. He came to writing poetry through writing lyrics and has now come full circle, singing and performing his poetry with Brian Briggs.

‘In this virtuoso new collection, Paul Henry… takes his place as one of the most important Welsh poets now writing.’ Carol Ann Duffy

Lyricist, singer and guitarist Brian Briggs was frontman for the well known Indie band Stornoway. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear two superb lyrical musical wordsmiths playing and performing together – with a delicious lunch.
