The Great Heath: Brian Graham

16 March – 6 May

A magnificent new body of work by the eminent painter Brian Graham exploring the great heath of memory, imagination, literature and music in paintings that hover between abstraction and the figurative. Inspired by Thomas Hardy’s Egdon Heath from The Return of the Native, a semi-fictional area of wilderness between Dorchester, Wareham and Poole, the paintings revisit places where Brian Graham spent a great deal of time as a child. Please let us know if you would like an email when the paintings are available to view online or an invitation to the opening. More
