George Tute working webGeorge Tute studied painting at the Royal Academy Schools and Illustration at the Royal College of Art.  He taught at York School of Art and became Principle Lecturer and Director of Studies of Graphic Design at the West of England College of Art.  A wood engraver and painter, he is an exhibiting member of the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers, the RWA and the Society of Wood Engravers. Now in his eighties, he lives and works in Bristol.
